Gautier Kitchen, earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Florida. He then went on to Samford University, Cumberland Law School in Birmingham, Alabama where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. While at Cumberland, Gautier was recognized as a Scholar of Merit and earned the Book Award in Civil Procedure. Gautier was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2003.
Prior to joining Marie A. Mattox, P.A., Gautier spent two years as a partner at the Law Firm of Ervin, Kitchen, and Ervin, in Tallahassee where he did primarily Criminal and Family trial law. He was partners with Deeno Kitchen, Robert Ervin, JR., and Anne-Elizabeth Williams when the firm was named as a Top Law Firm in America by US News.
Prior to that, Gautier worked as a litigation attorney for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, attorney for The Florida Bar, Insurance Prosecutor for the Florida Department of Financial Services, and spent two years as an Assistant State Attorney in the Office of The State Attorney for the Second Judicial Circuit of Florida as a Trial Attorney.
Gautier’s practice is focused primarily on trial work in the field of Civil Rights litigation, Employment discrimination, harassment & retaliation, and Whistle-blower retaliation. He is a member in good standing of The Florida Bar.
Gautier is a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, Knights of Columbus, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, is a native of Tallahassee, Florida and in his spare time he loves to spending time with his precious daughter.
